We are Astrid & Jörg.
Since February 2019 we are sailing the world on our sailing catamaran JAMS.
The first two years, we sailed the Med, preparing the boat and us for long ocean crossings while exploring the south of France, Corsica, Sardinia, Sicily, Greece, the Baleares and the south of Spain and Portugal.
In October 2021 we left the European continent in Lisboa and sailed west.
We sailed to the Canary Islands, crossed the Atlantic Ocean to reach Barbados, St. Vincent & the Grenadines, Martinique and Panama.
In March 2022, we took the Panama Canal to reach the Pacific. We crossed the Pacific Ocean sailing to the Galápagos Islands and French Polynesia where we visited the Marquesas, Tuamotus and Society Islands. We continued, sailed to Fiji, New Zealand, Tonga, Fiji again, Vanuatu and Papa New Guinea.
In August 2024 we reached the Indian Ocean sailing through the Torres Strait between PNG and Australia.
Currently (March 2025) we are in Indonesia, heading towards Malaysia and Thailand later this year.
